For over 12 years now Blue Beach Club has been home to Free Spirit Yoga Holidays and together we are the founders of Yoga Holidays in Dahab. Our Yoga studio was the first purpose built Yoga Shala in town and is still one of the most beautiful yoga spaces today. It is situated on the rooftop of the hotel with breathtaking views of the Red Sea and Sinai Mountains.
During an early morning class you could take in the sunrise over the Saudi Arabian Mountains and in the late afternoon class you will have the opportunity to witness the beautiful sunsets over the Sinai Mountains. Our yoga room can accommodate up to 22 students with a teacher and is equipped with yoga mats, blocks, belts and a music system (CD player and iPod docking station)
Free Spirit Yoga Holidays
Our Free Spirit Yoga Holidays run in the cooler months from November to May. Each week we have a teacher (all of whom are well-known and highly experienced) joining us from the UK to lead a wonderful week filled with twice daily yoga sessions and the opportunity to participate in many life-changing activities. The teachers who join us practise most styles of yoga, so there is a week to suit most preferences and an amazing opportunity to immerse oneself into a truly spiritual awakening.
Our Free Spirit Yoga Holiday schedule usually runs as follows:
- Morning yoga class
- Breakfast/brunch buffet
- Free time for any of the other activities on offer in Blue Beach Club Hotel or Dahab
- Free time to relax, read a book and have a massage
- Sunset yoga class
- Free time for evening activities and dinners in Blue Beach Restaurant or one of the many other options in town

Blue Beach Yoga Holidays
From June to the end of October we offer our yoga room to any teachers wishing to run a holiday using our venue. We have many special offers and reasonable group rates and will be pleased to help arrange this type of holiday. Weekly Yoga Classes
Birgit has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 8 years and gained her qualifications as an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher in Mysore- India. Her classes are suitable for beginners and students with some experience. During each class there is a focus on a different body part with variations given to suit the level of experience of the individual student.
She offers excellent demonstrations of postures and gives clear verbal instructions. Birgit is a motivating teacher who creates a good balance between a physical workout and relaxation in her classes.
She also offers private classes tailored to your individual wishes, needs and ailments (i.e. Sciatica, Scoliosis, Asthma, high blood pressure etc.)
Samantha has practiced yoga for over six years and offers gentle and uplifting classes based on the Sivananda style of hatha yoga. Samantha’s class is suitable for beginners and improvers.
Each class blends pranayama (breath work) to quiet the mind with energizing and restorative asana (postures) to nourish and strengthen the body, finishing with deep and peaceful relaxation to increase feelings of vitality and rejuvenation.
Drop-in yoga classes and workshops available, in addition, to private tuition for guests wanting to add special focus to their practice.
